Is it normal behavior in Appian's Tasks list to regenerate the timestamp aft

Is it normal behavior in Appian's Tasks list to regenerate the timestamp after a user views the task?
To clarify the user is not completing the task but simply opening, viewing the task and then closing the task.
Is there a way to not always regenerate the timestamp on the task?

Are you speaking of the timestamp shown under the task name in the listing when you just click on the Task tab?
If so, no. Not common and I can't replicate.
What version are you on? Tasks assigned to groups or a single person?
