There used to be a way to execute a process when a user logs in, does this facility exist in Appian 16.2?

  • @mohammedz - The feature you are suggesting is "Sites" and the explanation you have given is correct.
    Sites are a very good option if you want to focus on a limited set of activities.

    But here there the requirement from @markshaw is he want to start a just process and which may or may not contain a user input task.
    Here his requirement might be to run a batch process of some kind whenever a user logs in.
    So for this scenario, the above mentioned solution might suffice.
    And we need an action for sure otherwise we cannot trigger the process model.

    But if you configure a Site then no process model is invoked unless you click on some submit button or submit link.
