Question with task privileges not working

@navajithh Hi, as long as you hold 'Process Administrator' privilege, that shouldn't be an issue as per my knowledge. Unfortunately, in the same way, the Start Process Smart Service failed even though I tried to run it under Designer context and with Process Administrator privileges.

I would suggest verifying the Privileges part again and if everything looks good even then, it might be worth raising a Cloud ticket or discussing with Cloud team.

Anyway, let's see what others opine.

@sikhivahans, Thanks for the quick response, Its on-premise installation and I have verified the privilege and the user account with which I am trying to complete is a Sys-Admin in this environment

Check the assignment tab of the "Complete Task" smart service. Is it running as whoever started the process or as whoever designed the model?

Also, is the smart service failing because the task has been already accepted by the original owner? Once a task is accepted you shouldn't be able to complete it even if you are an Admin because it's no longer yours.

Hi Eduardo, I tried with both configurations in Assignment tab and it fails. Actually I have designed it and I am executing it in my login. The task is assinged to a group. When I accept the task or when I add myself to the group to which the task is assigned, the node completes successfully.
