Process
Editing process instance in on-prem environment
omere
Hi,
I've noticed when editing process instances in our on-premise environments; The values for AC variables of type CDT whose values are set via fields are all null even when opening up the expression editor. We are on 16.2.
Thanks,

I think this is the way it works when you modify a running process. The values are visible in monitoring mode. But even then, only the PVs and not the ACs.

but we can edit the expression values for these ACs in our dev and test environments which are cloud and this is only with CDT type ACs when editing the individual field values.

Would you mind providing some screenshots of the same situation from cloud and on-premise?

Hi Omere,
Have you tried doing the same in different browsers, If not please check with IE because i have faced similar kind of issue after migrating the application to 16.2 from a lower environment and opening the process modeler in chrome resulted problematic behavior.

I have only been using IE. I just tried it in Chrome and can see the expression definitions for the on premise environment.

This issue should already be fixed in the latest hotfix. Ensure you have applied the latest hotfix to your environment.

We saw the same issue in IE only after upgrading 7.11 to 16.2.

The situation does only effect IE, but as Tom mentioned, it is a resolved issue (AN-74187) in 16.2 Hotfix Package E.
