Process
Using escalations for daily task reminders
John Stretton

I'd like to configure escalations on a task to send daily reminders to the owner as long as the task is still active. However, I'm struggling to understand why my configuration (screenshot attached) is not working as I expect it to. There isn't much documentation available about escalations; this is all I could find and I haven't found any answers on either of these pages:

I don't know where to look in the server logs for evidence of these alerts.

@johns
We can find the logs under
/logs
Here, When the application server encounters an unexpected error, a message describing the error is logged to application_server.log
We can use the below link as reference to check all the log files related to Appian

Could you provide a screenshot of your Alert Configuration?

I need to change tp!owner to tp!assignees, don't I? Is it true that a task doesn't have an owner until it's accepted?

It's also worth noting that this node has multiple instances. Does this affect how I should configure the escalation?

Correct, a task does not have an owner until it is accepted. You can change it to tp!assignees. The multiple instances of the node should not impact how the escalations need to be configured.
