Task tab count mismatch

I wonder if anyone came across this too as I have a mismatch that I cannot explain.

For a specific user when I open the portal report (under task reports folder) "Tasks for User" and I put the report context by selecting the said problematic user I get X tasks.

But when I log in with the user and see his task count on tempo (the top tab in tempo like for example "Tasks (X)") well it actually displays the count of the "tasks for user" report but ... minus one! I am missing a task. The problem is the user has too many tasks it would be a pain to find the specific task.

Would there be a logical explanation or usually it should be the same?

Hi,

The task report will fetch all the tasks including those are completed also, but the tempo tasks will display all active tasks assigned to that user or group.
Can you please check the task report report by applying the filter on status column?

Do you see status of all the tasks as assigned in the report?

There is no completed task but there is one that was paused. I guess that is the problem as you mentionned only active tasks are displayed and I think paused is not considered as "active".

I have refreshed the paused task to be active again and the count is good.
