Everything seems to be working fine apart from when I go in to Tempo

Hi david, can you please elaborate what exactly the problem is.? There would be many reasons for having a blank display in tempo reports. Check your logic to find out any mistakes related to usage of layouts because there are some restrictions on placing some SAIL components inside some layouts/components. And another reason might be trying to show multiple components without any layout. Make sure you have used at least a dashboard layout. Share error messages if you are getting any.

One think to check is to make sure your HOST_AND_PORT configuration in your custom.properties is correctly set. If its set to fqdn and you're trying to access tempo via 'localhost' or IP, then this error may appear.

Thanks Sathya that sounds exactly the issue. So is HOST_AND_PORT different to SERVER_AND_PORT ?

I have SERVER_AND_PORT set to the <serverIPaddress>:8080

found what the issue was.

When accessing the server locally, use the IP address configured on SERVER_AND_PORT and not localhost when accessing the site.
