We already have tasks in tempo that displays the pending tasks with basic details
then we have task report where we can get the list of tasks and can edit what we need to display.
Then what is the concept of custom task report and when should we consider using it?

The reason behind this is :
The task list under the task tab of tempo is specific to tempo only we can't reuse it anywhere but users with focused work are referred to use the site instead of tempo in that case task report use inside sites as a report to get task details
