In your case when you edit the column used for drill down you have the following checkbox checked, 'Link to more information'. What do you have selected in the 'Link to' dropdown?

When you place the report on to a channel, the channel will show you options to control the features of the report you want to expose and option to Edit will be one of them.

@srinivasan- I want to hide the editing controls for report(Say B). Report B is visible after performing drilldown(Other report) on report(Say A). As you said we can use the channel options for Report A to hide controls. Is there any out of the box functionality to hide edit option in the report B which is not placed in any channel.

?Hello ,
Please refer the below threads for discussions on similar topic -
forum.appian.com/.../b-34471
forum.appian.com/.../4052
To summarize the above threads -
* This is an expected behavior. When you drill down to other report from the report channel, it opens that report in reports interface which has all editing controls.
* if you only allow Reader rights to users over the report, they will only be able to do a Save-as rather than overriding the report.
To options we can think of are -
1. Update report JSP to hide the editing controls for all users except System Administrator. This feature is not available currently out-of-the-box. So it is definitely a customization.
2. Instead of drilling down to another report, drill down to a portal page and show your drill down report on that page. But using this option, you cannot filter the report as you were able to do it before.
Hope this helps.
