Hi all.
Can any one please let me know when drill down is performed on a report, is there any way to hide editing controls in resultant(second) report from basic user....

To summarize the above threads -
* This is an expected behavior. When you drill down to other report from the report channel, it opens that report in reports interface which has all editing controls.
* if you only allow Reader rights to users over the report, they will only be able to do a Save-as rather than overriding the report.
To options we can think of are -
1. Update report JSP to hide the editing controls for all users except System Administrator. This feature is not available currently out-of-the-box. So it is definitely a customization.
2. Instead of drilling down to another report, drill down to a portal page and show your drill down report on that page. But using this option, you cannot filter the report as you were able to do it before.
