Hi,
I have downloaded the agent yesterday and launched the robot manually and status of the Robot is online. After the testing is done, I have quit the robot. Today, I launched the robot again and the robot status is offline.
it is saying Resource/ nodeNotSet v9.10.1 .
If I download the agent again from operations console, its working fine. If I want to use the agent downloaded previous day, it is not working.
miguelangel.carnero help me in this

You just need to activate the robot from your system first rather than downloading the installer again & again. Follow the below documentation:docs.appian.com/.../agents.html
sharma_kapil is right. Sri Ram Kaja once you quit a robot, the next day you have you activate it again in the host machine before executing the Robotic Task, so the robot will switch Online before execution. To do it, just go to the folder where the installer is placed, and double click on the installer file. That will activate the robot.
Hi miguelangel.carnero , I am doing same, but still the robot status is offline and and its installed but it is saying Resource/ nodeNotSet v9.10.1 .
Because of that I download the agent again.
Can you provide a screenshot where that message appears? The more info the better.
I am pasting the screenshot here miguelangel.carnero
Then I download new one and its working fine after I download new one
I assume this is an ACE site, right? In the folder where the installer is located, there is also an uninstaller file. Are you using this uninstaller before downloading a new robot? If not, please try uninstalling the robot by executing the uninstaller file. This will clean up the whole folder. Then, download a new robot, launch it and quit it. Then, try launching it again by executing the installer placed in the folder. If yes, please open a support ticket because this may need further investigation, ok?.
No, its not community edition. Its partner site. I have done the above steps as you said. If I download new agent, it is working as expected on that day. I can quit the agent and then again launch it and its working only for that day.
On the next day, If I launch same agent, its not working and showing above message
Ok, let's try another thing before opening a Support Ticket. The issue seems to be related with the AppianRPA.properties file. Do you have access to this file in the folder where the installer is located? If yes, please, make a copy of that .properties file a place it in a different folder (file V2). Tomorrow, 1) compare both .properties files (the one placed in the folder with the installer (file V1), and the copy you made and placed in a different location (file V2)). They should content the same, we just want to double check if your host Machine is doing something with that file V1. Then, try pasted the copied file (V2) that you placed out, again the folder, and launch the installer, and let's see if the robot gets online.Let us know tomorrow if this works, ok? If not, a Support Ticket would be required for further investigation.
Ok, I have copied the properties file in separate folder. Will check tomorrow if anything happens with the details
Hi miguelangel.carnero ,
As you have said, I have launched the agent today and checked the properties file. Actually robot key got changed today.
Is it an expected behaviour? If not, how to overcome this issue
If you don't want the Robot Key to change, you have to check the option "Enable manual robot key rotation" in Appian RPA > Settings > Configuration > Security Policies (screenshot)
Can you check which configuration do have on that option? Also, can you confirm the name of the file where the Robot Key is stored? Thanks.
