Update Constant Smart Service Sets a Constant with Multiple Values to Single Value after an update

Hello!

I have a constant which is of text multiple type. I have the process to update the constant using the Update Constant smart service. When user is trying to update the constant via an action, the text in constant is getting updated, however, instead of multiple values, it becomes one value although it has got the semi-colons in it. Can anyone suggest a solution for this?

The action contains a paragraphField with the current value of a constant with it's values separated by semi-colon. User just enters or removes the value
