WebAPI authentication fails in Postman

Question

Hi folks, 
 
 I have implemented a WebAPI in Appian and exposed it to a REST client. 
 
 I am trying to use the Postman REST client but the authentication fails with the message " JBWEB000121: This request requires HTTP authentication. " 
 The same WebAPI when exposed to the Advanced Rest client works perfectly and returns a 200 Status. 
 
 To resolve this issue in Postman I have also integrated the Postman Interceptor in Postman but to no success.

I have tried all the usual solutions.

This was resolved by explicitly adding the "origin" header with {Appain url} to the Postman request.

You are most likely to get this error when the web api which you created is of the method post , if it would have been a get method this error wouldn't have occured . 
 
And like you said , these kinds of error can be handled by explicitly adding origin header .
