We are facing an issue. In some of our user input tasks, in the outputs we are using query rules to save values in Process Variables. When the process instance is being exceuted by admin user, it executes fine. But when it is executed by a basic user it throws an alert in backend.
The alert message is "Failed to look up entity".
The basic user has "Viewer" access on the data store. I am not able to figure out why this is occuring.
Can anyone please point me to what the origin of this issue is and how might I resolve it? Any pointers would be really useful....

Please try giving viewer rights on the datastore to the basic user.

Can you try the following to refresh the security:
1. Open the data store from the System tab
2. Click "Security"
3. DO NOT CHANGE anything (if the basic user is already in the group with viewer access)
4. Click "Save"
5. Try again.
If the issue is not resolved, can you confirm what version of Appian this is?
