I am using the bind() function with webservicequery() and webservicewrite() as my getter and setter. It seems that I have no way of accessing the response from my setter function - is that correct or am I missing something?
How can I determine if my setter has succeeded? My webservice returns a result code from which I want to display a prompt to the user....

Your best chance is to immediately query the target system after writing to ensure that you made a successful write, if using a writer function.
