Hi,
I am getting different behavior when I am comparing a particular date with NULL value.
todate(null) > date(2014,1,1) returns false
todate(null) < date(2014,1,1) returns true
Since we are comparing against NULL ideally both expression should return False.
Regards,
Piyush

I was able to recreate this. todate(null) actually returns [ Empty Result ], rather than being null itself. So what's likely happening is that in the first case, [ Empty Result ] > [some value] is false. In the next case, [ Empty Result ] < [some value] is true, which makes sense in a way.
