We need the ability to re-authenticate a user within a form (purpose is to ensure that the logged in user is the one submitting the form). We have an encrypted text field for the password, and would like to initiate a function to validate the password using Appian authentication. The credentials would need to be authenticated prior to submitting the form. Is there a way to do this, or is there a plugin to support. Working in SAIL. Thanks!...

Theoretically, an option is to create a plug-in function that does the logic and returns a Boolean that you can invoke in a SAIL form. The logic of validating the user can be a bit of work. Hope this helps.

Thanks Sathya. I was hoping there was some type of built in function, but I was thinking the same thing.

Is there any documentation on how the "authenicated form" works? We have it installed, and I'm using the "Authenticated Form" task, but not sure how to invoke the authentication service, etc...
