Hello guys!
Consider there is a constant used in a process model and we have saved and published the process model. For some reason if I delete that constant and I did not update my process model, then while saving the process model, it does not give any error.
So my question is that how does a process model keeps references to the deleted constants?
Also, is there any backup for deleted constants and rules?
Thank you! ...

After deleting the constant, if we save&publish and run the process model the deleted constant still returns the value of the constant!!

Deleting a rule only prevents designer from viewing /editing the rule. The rule is still available during process execution to ensure previous instances can continue to use the rule . Please see product documentation on Deleting rules
