can anyone suggest me how do i count no of delimiters in the Subject? For ex:Firm Add|Test|Test|England||qw||qwee|Non Clearing|No|Yes||a537459@fmr.com| it should be13

You can use the following expression if the delimiter is same..

=len(ri!text1)-len(stripwith(ri!text1,"|"))

Here is another..len(cleanwith(ri!tex1,"|"))
