Hello,
I would like to know if it's possible to create an Appian Function (through a Java Plug-in) whose purpose is to execute a Rule by only providing the name of the Rule to this Appian Function.
The scenario i'm working on is creating a set of SAIL forms that all work with the same CDT and which SAIL Form is called is decided at run-time. The decision is made in a Rule that's made of various cascading IFs so as to decide which SAIL Form (Rule) to call.
This implementation would be more clear if i was able to call a SAIL Form by its name through an Appian Function.
Thank you....

Thanos,
Have a look at this two following components to learn more about how these other developers have achieved returning actual SAIL code from a plug-in instead of simple text. They all come with the source code inside the JAR, the one that looks more like the scenario you are trying to accomplish is Portal2SAIL where he has actually created a CDTHelperUtils class that receives the out of the box SAIL component qname to build it
Portal 2 SAIL (specifically PortalReport2SAIL.java and CDTHelperUtils.java)
