I am new to Appian, and I would like to know more about AI copilot capabilities. Am I able to create record type using copilot or does that capability exist just in platform?

How to Manage Documents with Appian Record Types
This video primarily is to explain how documents can be managed using records, and the record setup is to be done by a dev explicitly!
AI Copilot cannot create new record types directly, it can work with existing records to create record events or document records. AI Copilot primarily assists with development tasks within the existing application context, helping with expressions, interfaces, and queries related to records that already exist. However, It offers a different AI capability called Composer that works during the initial application setup phase. Composer can understand your business requirements through natural language and automatically generate initial application objects including record types, groups, interfaces, process models, data types, and other components.
Thanks so much for your reply. Do we need Data Fabric capability to create record type? Also is it possible to upload documents directly to AI copilot for chat purposes?

Not required for basic record types You can use database tables or CDTs, though Data Fabric adds external system integration capabilities.

Yes, Supports document uploads for chat purposes through Enterprise Copilot.https://docs.appian.com/suite/help/25.3/user-copilot.html
Is Enterprise copilot the same as business user copilot? Is there any difference?
Enterprise Copilot is a specific feature within the broader Business User Copilot capabilities.
