I am using the todatetime() function but it is returning erroneous results. Is this a known Appian bug? Is there a work around?

Did you consider using local function if user does not happen to reside in GMT time zone? By default, the date time is returned in GMT, if you feel the date time is not correct, localization of the date time is necessary.

What is the circumstance that you're finding there erroneous results @amjedr?
We have a spurious error occurring when parsing a user-entered (textual) date to a Date value. The result in our case is a date value that is about 60 years in the future.
Is this is similar to what you're seeing?
