Hi,
We have a script task which has Outputs data configured to capture the status, for some process it is throwing error as below
ERROR:Work item cancelled (Data Outputs).
what might be the reason for this behavior?
Thanks in advance

Hi,
One possible case would be the assignment, if the assignment is set to "Run as whoever designed this process model" and designer of last published version is deactivated then this situation would come. we have come across the same issue.
Please check assignment once.

Is initiator of the process is still active? is this happening for all users or for a particular user?

with the Info shared and based on the Posts,If you are using in a subprocess, there might be a chance of your parent process being killed or deleted so that all the subprocess might also fail....Please check this also if it is included in a subprocess

Can you check application server log after failure , it might give you some pointer to debug this issue.
