I have a bit of a weird scenario. I am using the expression editor and I am not getting back results in the suggestion list for certain expression rules. Some rules are appearing in the suggestion list, but there are many more that are just not appearing ever. If I manually enter in the rule into the expression editor, the expression editor knows about and displays the documentation for it.
I thought that this might be security related, but the security for the rules that are not appearing in the list encompass me as an administrator. Any ideas?

1. Can you attach screenshots or a video (
www.techsmith.com/jing.html)
showing this behavior?
2. What version are you on, including hotfix? If you are unsure, can you attach the <Appian Home>/ear/suite.ear/conf/build.info file

Cloud based running 7.11. In the screenshot you can clearly see that there is a rule called CMN_dollarFunction, yet when I try and type CMN_doll, I am getting back 0 results. If I type CMN_ I do get back some results.

This behavior could be caused be a caching issue, especially if the new expression you are referencing that is not showing up has just recently been created.

This will sound a little odd, but it could also be caused by any (yes, any!) knowledge center being marked as "Hide Knowledge Center from search results". Go through your KCs and see if there's any marked as such; if there is, try switching that option off and the rules may well show in the search results.

That does sound odd philb but that was the solution. Would have never have thought of that.
