Is the "Record opaque ID" for a process backed record simply the process ID? I would like to cross reference from a Tempo news posting via a link (using intuitive URL) to a record details page for the same process instance.

The opaque ID of record is not the process ID. The only way to generate a link to a record is with the urlforrecord() expression function. It takes as parameters the record type and the record ID (in this case the record ID is the process ID) and returns the url of that record.

Thank you for the quick response, I will try urlforrecord.
Maybe the documentation for intuitive URL should be changed as the opaque ID is not available to designers?

We've added a note to the Quick Links page pointing users to the urlforrecord() function in case they want the intuitive URL. Let us know if you have any issues using the function. Thanks!
