@rameshm - What's the expected value you want to see in the Process variable and what's the nature of processing that you are going to perform using the variable. Depending on what exactly you want, solution needs to be framed. You can use split() function to create an array of the comma separated values if that's what you are looking for.

You can remove null values using difference function
Ex: Difference({docs1,doc2,},todocument(null()))

try using rdrop(pv!documentArray, 1) to remove the last value which is null in your case. But how did you end up getting the null value in the first place ?

@rameshm - Please elaborate you requirement. If removal of comma means you want to remove it as a text then you can use stripwith or substitute functions.

@ramesh May I know what version is Appian on? If you are making use of Appian 6.7 or above, try to use looping functions such as fn!reject(). I believe, fn!filternulls() function is from a plugin which was used prior to existence of Looping Functions.
