Issue with expression rule trying to measure how long a webservice call takes

Hi

I have an expression rule that invokes the now command twice, once at the start of the rule to record the start time and then again at the end of the expression rule so we can see how long the web service call being made in between is taking.

The results of the now are being converted to the following format via a further expression rule - 14/07/2016 11:04:19:461

However despite the webservice taking around 300ms to respond both the start and end times are reporting exactly the same time. Is this expected behaviour for the now() function ? If so is there a way an alternative mechanism to achieve the outcome I desire ?

We're running 16.2 in the Cloud if this helps.
