Hi,
I am on Appian 17.1 and when I click on a link configured using a!documentDownloadLink(), it's taking me to a new blank tab. I checked the same link on 16.3 and it's working fine. Is this an expected behavior in Appian 17.1?
Thanks!

I recommend you raise an Appian support ticket if you see it specifically as 17.1 issue

@Naresh...AFAIK this is not an appian 17.1 issue,I used the same function a!documentDownloadLink() in 17.1 and it is working fine for me.

@tajinders I've already raised a support case for the 17.1 issues and this one of them but just want to check if anyone has observed the same issue before I get response from support team.
@Sridevi Did you check with actual task assigned to a user? Because when I checked it in a test interface it was working fine.

@Naresh i believe that currently we do not have proper browser compatibility for 17.1 as few people are unable to launch process model in chrome even whereas few are able to launch but unable to perform any changes into it, so Appian might be releasing the patches or hotfix for these issues, till that as per my understanding it's better to stick with 16.3 as it was the stable one.

@Sridevi, Document is getting downloaded but an extra blank tab is opening when you click on the link. Did you notice it?
@Alok Let's see if they release any hotfix soon.

@vinods129 Nope, Appian engineering team is still working on it and assumed it will be in the next Hotfix release as similar to Hotfix A which resolved few of the issues raised.

I am also facing a similar issue in 17.1. When I click on document download link, the document gets downloaded and a new tab opens with 403 Forbidden error.
