We have moved Appian onto a new server and everything works except the links on some forms where we reference/open external documents.
We create the links using an href tag but this does not work in the new environment. I suspect there is some configuration change that will enable these links to work.
any help would be appreciated.

Hi Mike.
Its actually a Portal form (we are well aware that we need to move off portal ASAP, but we need to upgrade to 17.1 rather urgently before we migrate off portal). Here is a screenshot. It's pretty simple as you can see. We have been using this form and HREF tag for a number of years and it runs perfectly on all our servers where we have Appian 7.10 running.
I have found that it is not only the href link that isn't working. on ALL portal forms the standard hyperlink to view the parent process (in the task header) is also not being constructed. below are 2 screenshots - one on the old environment with the link there and the other from the new server with no link visible on the form. this makes me think it has to be some global setting/configuration that is wrong.
