Display form sections depending on query results

I would like to create a form that renders a different number of sections based on database query results. I am trying to create a method display a directory tree type "thing" to allow users to navigate through a series of objects to the lowest level entity. Any help or recommendations would be greatly appreciated....

Hoping you want to display the folder structure in UI for each instance will have similar hierarchy. As such Appian Does not provide Dynamic UI fields, but for achieving this you can have the maximum possible section in the UI according to your directory structure (if it is fixed and is not changing) and use and hide/show at different section using pvs. It might be a tedious job to achieve it. This method is only possible,If the folder structure is creating new nested folders dynamically (more than the nested sections in the UI).
