If we use inline conf.content.download.inline to display a PDF on a form that a user can make changes to, is there any way - perhaps writing a custom plugin smart service - that we could save the updated PDF into Appian content without forcing the user to save it and re-upload it in a subsequent task?...

Mike, I looked at the Record but it didn't include any documentation on how to use the plugin beyond a link to Adobe about digital signatures. Either way, we're pretty much certain this approach won't fit our requirements.
