I am trying to generate Bar Code on PDF form. I have bounded the BarCode field to another field. When I run the process, through mapping another field does get generated but it does not generate BarCode. Any idea please?...

Sathya, I have tested that plug-in, In that we save the barcode as document type. Can we map document type on PDF?

You need to use the plug-in (see the link above) to put the image into PDF. This is different to Generate PDF from Template Smart service.

One more questions over it, so the steps will be to create a barcode using another smart service & then append that image to PDF & then Generate PDF from Template Smart service? or create a barcode using another smart service & then Generate PDF from Template Smart service & then append that image to PDF? which of the above mentioned steps I should go with as I have to map another fields as well?

It shouldn't matter but if I am given a choice, I would prefer the latter - get the document generated first and then add the barcode.

Sathya can we have the plaugin "Append Image to PDF document" cloud approved. We have same requirement where we need to embed a bar code image to PDF. This plaugin can help.

I'm not sure if this is of any value to you but you can consider creating a PDF QR code using a QR code generator online. You can simply upload a copy of your PDF file to an online platform, design how you want your QR code to look, and download a copy of it for distribution.

A PDF QR code can be particularly helpful for sharing documents, brochures, or any PDF content in a way that makes it easily scannable by anyone with a QR code reader. I've been using the platform mentioned above as it has a user-friendly interface which makes creating a QR code seamless and straightforward. I've created reliable QR codes from it so far.
