I have a form with textboxes, dropdowns and buttons to get inputs from user. When I navigate this form using Firefox (26.0), it works fine. When I run the same process in IE (IE8), the textboxes (either all or some) become totally non-clickable. This behavior is also not consistent. Sometimes they are editable and sometimes they are non-editable. Any idea on this....

  • 1. What version of Appian?
    2. Portal or Tempo?
    3. If Portal, do you have any JavaScript on the form?
    4. Does it happen if you launch IE using this command from the run prompt?

    iexplorer -extoff

    4. Does it happen to more than one user?
    5. Is IE8 configured to run in compatibility mode?
    6. Is there any custom CSS library on the form?
    7. If you hit F12 in the browser IE Developer Tools will be opened. Try inspecting the text box and see if there's CSS disabling the box.
