Is there a way to format the text in a process variable. For example: I have a subject line in a email formed like this:

"A note has been added to request # "&pv!requestId& "entitled: "&pv!requestTitle

Is there a way to put parens around the request title? Is there a way to bold print a pv in the message body?

Instead of taking whole body in one expression, try using pv!s in expression editor in the message body and bold the expression editor by selecting it and using the bold in the Body of Email Smart Service.
