Hi,
I would like to send error details to an email DL when there is an issue with process model functionality.
The below option is allowing me to create a reference to an Appian group and specify at this place. But, I would like to provide an email DL so that all the people who are the part of the email DL should receive the email with error details.

Why can you not simply add the Users who you want the Alert sent to to the Group that you reference in this configuration? Alerts are meant for people who will be able to act as Administrators and therefore they should all have Appian accounts, each with their own email. In effect, the Group will act as a DL for you.
In the Production, if the system is generating any kind of errors then the error details should go to Production support people (Who should not have access to the application). If required Production support will contact System Administrators of the system for further assistance to get more details about process smart service details.
Production support will forward those error email details to the Development team.
Support team was designed in this way in my organization.
So, system has to send error email (If there were any) so that PS team will track and raise respective tickets.
So create a basic user account (with no real access to most of the system) whose email address is the same as the DL's email address. That user would be a member of the Alert Recipients group targeted by your process.
We are already have a group of people who is supporting different applications and those people are part of different applications. If there is an option to add that email DL then it is a easy process of me and for management. So, management is asking me to implement this.
We are using LDAP to sync the users to group and we have a big process to get the approvals to add to group. Just to avoid this process, so management is asking to use the email DL.
Is there any mechanism in Appian where I can use email DL to setup for getting process alerts?

What is the nature of your "email DL"? I asked above if it's just a unique email address that gets distributed to a group, but you didn't really answer me. If it's something more complicated than that, then I'm guessing the answer is "no".
It is unique email address where multiple people be part of that. So, I sent an email to that email dl/address, then all the people who are part of that DL (Distribution List) will get notification.
So as I said originally, there's an easy way to send error alerts to that DL. Set the email address as the email address of an unused Appian User account, and add that User it to the error alerts Group. Your reply above didn't really seem to explain why this isn't an option if it's exactly what you're trying to accomplish?
I have created an user account with that DL, then that user account getting de-activated when my LDAP sync is ran. My LDAP sync is making in-active of all the user a/c which are not part of Sync.

That makes sense - though if this approach works apart from that issue, then I'd suggest searching for a way to bypass that issue somehow. Can the LDAP sync be made to exclude certain accounts by group membership? Or perhaps the account could be added to the Service Accounts group, in case that causes it to be skipped by the syncing (which I'd hope since this would be problematic for normal service accounts if they always get deactivated by an LDAP sync). I'm less familiar with LDAP but i'd hope one of these might be a potential option.
