Portal Application Implementation (plan to move foward with TEMPO, but not at this time)

When a user presses the TAB key to set focus to a specific button on a form, is there a way to force Appian to "click" the button that was focused via the ENTR key (I understand the spacebar is able to do this). It seems that no matter which button on the form is has focus, when the ENTR key is pressed, the first button seems to be the default button that is "clicked". Is there any way to allow users to focus a button and "click" it with the keyboard (ENTR key)?...

Hi Ryan, that is the default Portal form behavior that the first button is clicked when you press enter. When you start using SAIL form, you can use TAB to focus on any button and press ENTER to click it. Also, it will prevent you from double-clicking any button. That is another reason to start using SAIL!

i never imagined that a 10 year old comment would fix this for me. thanks a lot for sharing this. I had been stuck with this double clicking bug on the spacebar clicker for last 2 days. Finally ready to deploy it! thanks again.
