Portal Application Implementation (plan to move foward with TEMPO, but not at this time)

When a user presses the TAB key to set focus to a specific button on a form, is there a way to force Appian to "click" the button that was focused via the ENTR key (I understand the spacebar is able to do this). It seems that no matter which button on the form is has focus, when the ENTR key is pressed, the first button seems to be the default button that is "clicked". Is there any way to allow users to focus a button and "click" it with the keyboard (ENTR key)?...
