You can check out the FormAPI.loadsection function in Advanced Form Utilites to achieve this. Here is an earlier post which might be useful

. That said, please note that if you add JS to your forms, they cannot be enabled for mobile.

akhilan, if i go with the loadSection, hw do i make the sections loaded as hidden?? my flow is like, initially a form is displayed with many section in which only one is displayed. rest are all hidden. These sections are reused from another form. in the nxt step, i make the first section readonly, second section editable and rest are hidden which are agin reused.
May be my approach need to be changed. Any suggestion is welcome in this regard.

In the forms where you have hidden the other sections, is there a scenario when those are ever shown in that particular form? It doesn't make sense to keep the hidden sections in the form if they are never displayed for that task simply because you will show it in a later similar version of the task.
If development time is a concern, then develop the most complex version of the form first (one with the most sections that will be displayed). You can use this as your template for all the other forms and delete the section or change them to be read only as needed.

One more thing, when i try to use loadSection in onLoad of a form, it doesn load the section but displays "Test" instead. Any suggestion?? I have folowed the pdf for using the loadSection.

Hi Raghunandan, can you provide the on load call you are making in your form? Is the section your are trying to change at design time actually changing to "Test" at runtime? If so, then it is referencing a section that you did not intend for it to. Please check that you are referencing the right section in the "sectionFrom" parameter.
