KB-1713 Users see an unexpected Appian login screen design and screen refreshes after login attempt

Symptoms

The users see the following screen when navigating to the Appian login page:

When attempting to login, the screen refreshes and no errors are displayed in the browser. 

Cause

This issue presents itself under the following conditions:

1. Some of the static content is not available to the web server.
2. There are permission restrictions on the static content.

Action

1. Ensure that the static content was migrated properly to the web server.
2. If symbolic links are used to point to the static content, ensure that the static content has correct permissions.

This article applies to all versions of Appian.
