DRAFT KB-XXXX Cleanup script removes archived kdb files when passed in option to clean up log files

This issue has been resolved in an Appian hotfix/new Appian version. Please apply the latest hotfix to your Appian installation or upgrade to the latest version of Appian.

Symptoms

After running the Cleanup script to clean up log files, it is observed that in addition to log files archived *.kdb files are incorrectly removed.

Sample syntax: <APPIAN_HOME>/server/_scripts/cleanup.bat(.sh) logs -delete -keep <# of days of logs kept>

The following output is observed in the terminal:

[exec] Deleting: <APPIAN_HOME>/services/data/archived/*/*.kdb

Cause

This issue has been addressed via AN-146512 in the following hotfixes/versions:

Apply the latest hotfix to your Appian installation or upgrade to the latest version of Appian.
