KB-1238 How to access system logs on an Appian Cloud site

Purpose

This article explains how to access system logs for an Appian Cloud site.

Instructions

Appian 18.2 and later

Users are able to access logs by doing one of the following:

  • Open https://<APPIAN_CLOUD_URL>/suite/design, and under the Navigation button, select the System Logs link from the drop down.
  • Open https://<APPIAN_CLOUD_URL>/suite/logs.

Appian 18.1 and earlier

Users are able to access logs by doing one of the following:

  • Open https://<APPIAN_CLOUD_URL>/suite/designer, and under the Home tab, select the Access System Logs link in the left pane.
  • Open https://<APPIAN_CLOUD_URL>/suite/logs.

A new application server log is created each day and is represented as follows:

jboss1-stdOut.log.YYYY-MM-DD

A new login-audit.csv log is also created each day as well.
