Note: You must download the Document Vector Database Connected System to use the AI Knowledge Assistant component plugin.

    We are enjoying the plug-in a lot. However, with version 3.1.3 we're having issues with the streaming function. We're running Appian version 23.2 and version 3.2.2. of the Document Vector Database plug-in. We also make use of the Azure OpenAI Services, GPT 3.5 16k. We made sure to not check the Disable Stream Response checkbox in the connected system.

    It shows the moving dots for a split second and then it switches to this "rectangle":

     

    Before showing the final answer in 1 go. Is this a known problem or can you help us?

    Due to the need to authenticate documents with user/group permissions, we are unable to make this plugin compatible with portals.

  • We are trying to use this component in Portal but seems to be not supported. Is there a way to use this in portal?

    I think you would need to implement a chatbot with another technology (chat bot focused) where you can design a workflow according to your needs, and embed it in your Appian application and establish communication between them via integrations and web API.
