Add document automation in your Appian process model with Apryse's document processing Smart Services, bringing the most popular capabilities of the Apryse Server SDK to a plugin that can be installed directly in your Appian environment without need to set up additional servers.

These Smart Services enable users to perform a complete range of document processing tasks—including viewing, editing, redacting, converting, and digitally signing documents—all within your Appian application.

Key Features & Functionality

This plugin contains the following Smart Services and matching functions:

  • Generate PDF from Office Template: Merge Word template with JSON data to dynamically generate PDF documents using Appian records
  • Convert Office to PDF: Convert Word, Excel, PowerPoint files to PDF
  • Search & Redact Documents: Use simple or regex text search find and redact sensitive information from documents
  • Merge Documents: Combine multiple files into a single PDF
  • Certify/Validate Certified Documents: Digitally sign documents with Digital ID or certify validity of signed documents

Server License Key

  • Contact our sales team for a Server (PDFNet) key or get a demo key.
  • Add the license via Third Party Credentials. It should be added under an 'Apryse' credentials with the following key: 'pdfnet.license'. Add permissions to the Apryse Smart Services plugin to access it.
