Overview
The Capture Image and Video plugin was built to allow users to be able to directly take pictures and videos from their device when using Appian and upload the taken video or image into an Appian folder.
Key Features & Functionality
The plugin includes a function called captureImageAndVideo, which requests access to a user's camera and microphone. Once access is granted, the user will have direct access to all cameras on their device and the ability to take pictures and videos directly from the interface. The plugin is linked to the connected system, Capture Image And Video Connected System, which allows users to save the pictures or videos taken into an Appian folder. When users take a picture or video, they have the ability to view and retake the captured image/video before saving it.
