Overview
This Plug-in provides the ability to update Appian user profiles from data retrieved from an LDAP server. The data that can be synchronized include all the default user profile fields except the username (e.g. first name, last name, address, phone, supervisor, title, etc…) as well as the custom fields.

Same here, starting failing after the 22.3 upgrade
Same here, we are experiencing same problems with 22.3 installations with LDAP Tools deployed. We cannot migrate from older version of LDAP Tools to the last release because the package is corrupted.
Is a new release planned to be published shortly to solve the migration and the 22.3 problems?Regards.
Unsolved yet
Hi,We know about the policy of the AppMarket, but just to add one more straw the haystack, this LDAP Tools is important feature which automates the creation or disabling of user accounts based on existing users declared on our LDAP.If we don't have the assurance that this component doesn't work, we won't install the APPIAN 22.3 version until we find a solution. Is a new release planned to be published shortly ?
Or can we at least get the source to operate the modification on our side ?
Best regards,
We have also just upgraded to 22.3 and are experiencing an error on the "LDAP User Profile Synchronization" smart service. Our error is:
java.lang.NoSuchMethodError: com.appiancorp.suiteapi.personalization.UserValidationUtils.isValidNameLength(Ljava/lang/String;I)Z
We just upgraded to version 22.3 and are now getting an error on the LDAP User Synch With Usernames Node, with the error An error occurred in executing an Activity Class.
In the error log we see an error as well, here is a portion of the error:
com.appiancorp.suiteapi.personalization.UserValidationUtils.isValidNameLength(Ljava/lang/String;I)ZIs there any plan to upgrade the plugin to work with the most recent version?
I was finally able to get this to import after learning a bit about how Mac creates a compressed archive. it turns out that the downloaded package has multiple layers of packaged folders, yet there is a fix for it. On Mac, I had to select the files/folders in /<zip root>/LDAP Sync/LDAP Sync/*, and select compress for those. I then imported the resulting archive, and it got past the error. (ignore the Archive.zip file here):
Is there any update as I am facing the same issue
FWIW, I did the same and was told by Appian support that they have notified the author. There is no ETA on a fix.
I opened a support ticket. Appian is working on a solution. Regards
