Is anyone having a problem with the 7.7 Configuration Manager? We used 7.6 ACM t

The ACM for 7.7 is already out, I suggest you re-install and use the ACM for 7.7 instead of the one for 7.6

I'm sorry, I wasn't clear enough with that message, we used the 7.6 ACM for the 7.6 install and it was fine, now using the 7.7 ACM for the 7.7 install and these errors are occurring with a new environment.properties or even with the same environment.properties reconfigured for 7.7 and Jboss 6.3.

If that error occurs when you run the ACM, can you attach the entire output so we can see at what line it's failing?

If it's any assistance, actions 3 and up will complete with no errors, however, 2 and below cause problems.

I looked at the build and it seems that this will happen, as the error suggests, if there are properties that are considered invalid but not invalid because they are not compatible with 7.7 but invalid in the sense that they are malformed.

Can you upload your properties file to this post? Just make sure to replace any sensitive setting with ****, simply replace the setting but do not delete it since I need to see if I can find something suspicious on the syntax used; the closer to the actual values the better for the diagnosis.

The regular expressions to consider a property invalid are these two

^([a-zA-Z0-9\\._]+)=(@.+@): A valid property contains only letters (upper/lower case), numbers, dots and underscores one or more times followed by an = sign. If there's something other than these characters the property will not be valid.

The right side to be valid needs any character one or more times inside the @@ delimiter.

(.*)?(@.+@)(.*): This regexp finds invalid properties that do not have an = but have one or more groups of any character one or more times before the token (any character one or more times) delimiters @@ followed by other characters one or more times.

In summary:

1. If there are invalid characters before the = the property is invalid
2. If the right side is not a set of characters between the @@ delimiters, the property is invalid
3. If there's no equal the property is invalid
4. If there's something before the token @@ and after, the property is invalid

The best approach is for you to review what I describe above and try to identify what property is malformed or try removing some until you find the culprit.

After looking at the properties files, I can not figure out what is going on. Here is a modified local.properties (this is only a local installation for the moment) and the corresponding custom.properties that is within the config manager.
