@jasleenk, http://<localhost/ip address>:<portNo>/suite/ -- to produce link till here, you can use APN_getSiteUrl

Hi skhivahans , Thanks for your suggestion. The above suggested URL removes the Appian toolbar stuff but it still opens up in the IE browser where URL can be seen. Can we do something to show the linked task in just a window and not browser window.

@jasleenk, Its very easy to build these kind of urls. When you are running a process, open an user input task, you could see this url in the address bar of the window. A small example here: Let us suppose that you need to generate links for all the versions of a document. Go to versions property of the document. If you hover over a particular version of the document, you could see an url at the bottom of the window with varying version number. Now seeing this, you can construct a url for all the versions of a documents.Still if you have any follow up questions let me know. And Sorry..I still didn't get you regarding the task opening in a window or browser. Could you please elaborate it?

@sikhivahanns - I opened the User Input Task from follow this link in my mail and i got ="http://I.P/port/suite/apps/system.tasks/active/task/"&tp!id . And when i apply this is get the portal window and not the one you told.
The URL that you suggested is suite/process...... . So how you were able to think of "suite/process" than suite / apps and gettaskdetails , appian _enviornment and all ?

@jasleenk, The way I followed is selecting "View Form" while running a process and then I captured the url which is in the address bar of that particular pop-up window that contains task. Similarly you can capture the url in the apps mode. (like, suppose if you have a report showing tasks list, and if you click a task, you could see an url like "http://
:
/suite/process/getTaskDetails.simplepopup?taskId=
&appian_environment=apps" in the address bar of the pop-up window which has task). Let me know if this still didn't answer your query
