I have a process model that generates a PDF. Is it possible to create a button in an interface that runs the process and then downloads the PDF to the user in one click?

As far as I know we can create PDF document with once button click and document with another button click but both can not be done simultaneously.
Harshitha is correct, there is no plausible one-click solution, in particular as file download functionality is always walled off from funcitonality that could run appian background process(es) to do any sort of document generation.
Generally I always suggest that this is more of an issue of expectations-setting on the side of the users / customer / client / etc, than a shortcoming of Appian.
