Hi there !
I'm having trouble extracting reports to XLS.
It just doesn't extract at all. I keep waiting and waiting until I give up and try again.
I tried to extract many other reports with success, these three are the only with problems.
We are not using SAIL in this application yet, so it's a process report.
The server is on Appian cloud.
Hope someone can give me a hand on this.
Thanks in advance,
Michel Barbosa...

Which reports specifically are you having trouble with?
Which environment is this on?

Aleksi,
They are "Process Details by Process Model" reports.
The server is on Appiancloud. We are using it for production.

Can you tell me how many rows and columns there are in the report?

Margaret,
Last night I let Appian exporting the report for several minutes and finally achieved my objective.
I think the report is really very large and is demanding lots of time to complete the extraction.
One of them has about 30 columns and 500 lines and I had to wait for about 30 minutes, the other one, has 35 columns and 1300 lines and I had to wait for more than 1 hour.
Hope you can tell me how to make it lighter for the future.

I'm seeing some errors in your app server logs that indicate the <table> </table> tags for your reports you are trying to export are not correctly formed. This error could be caused by trying to export a report with too many columns. What happens if you bring the number of columns below 25 and then try to export?

I changed the report to just 24 columns and deleted all the other data but it's still very slow to export.
What would you recommend to make it faster without deleting more columns.
Thanks !

In the access logs I only saw one request for today of an export, and that took less than a second according to the completion time. That one was done in the apps environment, so according to the logs it should be okay. Could you try an export in the designer environment and see if that is still slow?

Actually, I tried to export yesterday, but just replied you today.
That's why this one didn't took too many time to export the one you saw in the log. I'm going to try it again right now, so you can have more data to help me with.
