How to create process dashboard...
My process dashboard is not appearing when I click a cell in my process report which is set to invoke the Process Dashboard with pp!id... any ideas? Does category matter? Context is set to same process model. I understand only one Process Dashboard can be used for a given process model, must the process dashboard appear listed as a Page in the application?

Hi Mark,
I'm sure you've checked but... do you have "Link to more Information" checked? It is actually possible to set up the link without checking it but the link won't work until it is checked.
IIRC the process instance dashboard page doesn't need to be referenced in your application so long as it exists in the environment you're in.

Yes, I checked "Link to more Information" but clicking the link results in the default dashboard template appearing, not my custom dashboard. What links my custom dashboard to the given process model? The dashboard certaintly 'exists in the environment', but I'm sure something I'm missing causes the link to the proper page number.

Though the initial question seems simple, there are a few related details that are not so obvious. I note the Application - tab Process Models can contain folders, similar to the Rules tab, in which case the Actions tab cannot access any Process Model. The Process Model Dashboard appears to default to the Start Form unless customized, and it is clear what dashboard is linked since it shows when the Application Process Model item is clicked. The linked Process Dashboard, however, is not so evident. Clicking on a particular process name in the Process Model Details screen shows the default dashboard template, and the Actions drop-down menu shows 'Create custom dashboard' which I think should cause the link between the custom Process Dashboard and the process model. It would be nice to see the dashboard path location, I think this is important to this issue.

I also find that choosing 'Default Quick Task To Display' causes Link Behavior to malfunction, and show Quick Task in Channel despite 'Open in new window' checked.

and you created your custom dashboard via that action? it should create the link. did you create a custom dashboard for the process model or for process instances? If you want to link to a custom dashboard for an instance linked in your report then you need to have used the "Create custom dashboard" action from the dashboard of an existing process instance rather than the model.

Humm... I got it working by re-creating the whole Process Dashboard after I added each process model into the Application instead of using the Process Model folder.

So now I have several Process Dashboards, all having the same name, but likely having different page numbers and locations, and only one of these is the actively used dashboard.
